I have always thought it would be romantic to take a horse-drawn carriage ride, and apparently a number of other people thought so too. Mark and I made a dress-up date for tonight to go into San Antonio and take a horse-drawn carriage tour of the city. No such thing as a free dinner?
Yesterday when we were walking around the River Walk, we went up to what we thought was an information booth to ask directions. Turns out it was a Wyndham “Welcome Center”, which means we got pressured to go to a sales pitch today about Wyndham Club membership in exchange for free dinner at the Chart House on the top of the Tower of the Americas. A day of training
Today Mark and I drove to the warehouse/office of Holiday Hills Christmas Trees for a day of training. Today’s training was supposed to be just for first time lot operators, but there was a couple there who did this last year. They came to support a couple of new recruits they brought in. They were able to add some ideas from their experience, so it was a good thing to have them there. Continue reading
