I have always thought it would be romantic to take a horse-drawn carriage ride, and apparently a number of other people thought so too.  Mark and I made a dress-up date for tonight to go into San Antonio and take a horse-drawn carriage tour of the city.  Traffic was congested and we waited in line for nearly two hours, but we finally got our romantic ride in a Cinderella carriage!  Here are some pictures from this evening:

We waited outside the Alamo. You can see the Tower of the Americas on the far right.

These two were in line ahead of us. Once the mom asked her son to hold her place while she checked ahead and he spread his legs wide enough to cover two places and in a loud voice announced, “This is my mom’s place!”
