We planned a short day of travel today and it was a good thing.  This morning Mark was catching a heavy crosswind from the southeast that made driving difficult.  We stopped once to get gas and a little after that we stopped at a rest area so he could relax his grip.  Fortunately, as soon as we left the rest area the highway turned southeast so the wind wasn’t hitting us broadside.
