Today we got up early and picked up Jamey and Sarah at their hotel.  We crossed the border and took the ferry over to Vancouver Island.  We spent all morning at Butchart Gardens and a good part of the afternoon at the Craigdarroch Castle, which I’d never seen before.  Then we barely had time to drive by the Empress Hotel and the Parliament Building so Mark could see those.  Here is a sampling of pictures from the day: Continue reading →
