In the business class this morning, we went over making a business plan. I was so inspired that after class I drove to Walmart and got some supplies. Steve said it should look nice, with pictures that illustrate what we plan to do. I got a notebook, some page protectors, and some scrapbooking materials. I made the cover before lunch, the title page after lunch, and worked on a brief resume for Mark and me. Here are pictures:
In the meantime, Mark and his classmates were learning about propane systems. This afternoon he and two of our neighbors went to each other’s RVs and tested the propane systems on each. Our propane system also passed inspection, so we’ve got good electrical and propane. If only we had good storage!
This evening there was a potluck in the grand lodge. It was our first chance to really socialize with the others here. I showed Steve Anderson the business plan I started this afternoon and he indicated that I might be the first student ever from these classes that has actually started building one. Of course, the courses have only been going for about eighteen months, so maybe others will do it too.
Mark and I had our pictures taken with Steve and “Coop”:
Great blog. Thanks for the credit on the photo. Enjoyed chatting with you last evening at the potluck. You are definitely capturing the spirit if the training.
