The best laid plans…

Today was to have been our touring day and we loaded our bicycles on the back of the truck, but we never got “a round tuit”.  We did, however, take pictures of various stops we made on our way to and from the VA in Green Bay.  Here are today’s pictures…

After hitting the road, I asked Mark to take ZZ all the way to Sister Bay so I could photograph this field we'd seen along the way.

I've also always wanted to photograph this stone wall in the same field.  It reminds me of Robert Frost's poem, Mending Wall.

Driving through Ephraim we decided to stop for lunch at Wilson's.

Coming into Sturgeon Bay, Mark pointed out to me where the Maritime Museum is.  We hope to go there sometime.

On our way back we decided to stop at Mary O'Reilly's Irish Pub in Sturgeon Bay for dinner.

The publication we got the address from said there was a water view.  From the top deck in the back, looking over the fence  and using telephoto, I was able to capture the water view!

They had pretty flowers, though, and good food.  Mark had corned beef and cabbage and I had Irish stew.

We took Old Stage Rd, which Mark had been on but I hadn't, and got this picture of the evening sky.

    You are SO thoughtful; thank you for the anniversary wishes. We had a real good day.
    I thought for sure I knew which day is your anniversary, but now I can’t find it.
