From West Memphis, AR

In Graceland, in Graceland
I’m going to Graceland
For reasons I cannot explain
There’s some part of me wants to see Graceland
And I may be obliged to defend
Every love, every ending
Or maybe there’s no obligations now
Maybe I’ve a reason to believe
We all will be received
In Graceland

Graceland – By Paul Simon

We made a short day of it today as far as drive time, but as soon as we got to our campsite in West Memphis, Arkansas — right on the Mississippi River — we didn’t even take time to hook up.  We took the bridge over to Memphis, Tennessee to see Elvis Presley’s Graceland.  Rather than using words, let me use pictures to tell this story:

Elvis was first buried beside his mother in a local cemetery, but for security reasons, the graves of Elvis, his parents, his brother and his grandmother have been brought to Graceland.
