Under the bigtop

Yesterday two big trailers pulled up with all the equipment for setting up our lot.  Mike and Roger and the three amigos worked all day without any kind of a lunch break or dinner break.  I managed to get most of them to take some cans of pop, some jerky and a couple tangerines.  They were here till after dark and got all the basics in for us.  We take it from here.

First, a picture from Saturday when I was trying to learn how to use the cash register.  I was too tired to post this Saturday night:

How do you work this thing?

While all of this was going on, we also had guys coming by asking for applications for employment.  Even after everyone had left and the gates were all locked and we were indoors, I heard someone yelling over and over, “Hello!”  It was a man on the outside of the fence next to our RV who wanted to return an application he’d been given earlier in the day.  This will be my first time of hiring help.  I hope I’ve learned from all the bosses I’ve had what to do and what not to do.
