It’s getting to be about that time again!

Nearly every Monday since the first of January, I’ve been quilting with a bunch of crafty women here at the church. I’ve been working on my new Wanda’s Journey products for a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. I thought I’d make placemats this year.

Terri Best and I started the group. I had tried to set up a quilt group several years ago but couldn’t get anyone interested. She brought her friends and the group has been going strong!
Leeanne has been putting together a quilt that her mother started many years ago!
I’m doing placemats for every month. So far, I’ve done some for December…
…January…
…February…
…and March.

This is just a sampling. When we get closer to The Longest Day fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association, I’ll start selling them for donations. Keep watching for that!

In the meantime, I’m going to be testing the water tomorrow. There’s going to be a craft fair at my church and I’m going to try to sell them there. I won’t actually be there – I have to work – but Terri said I could put them on her table. Mark will be helping out at the fair with things like setting up, directing cars to parking, etc. I wish I could be there!
