It was sad to leave our friends in Pennsylvania and travel on, but Mark and I decided we’re just going to have to come back again sometime. We still have friends and family ahead to see.
We were still doing a lot of mountains today. I felt the faintest twinge of pressure in my ears a couple times so I guess we were somewhat higher than hills.
I will admit to having had my laptop up and running and not looking around as much, but I have a good excuse. I was taking the opportunity to pay our monthly bills. However, there was a period of time during the afternoon when we were stuck in a traffic jam. Mark turned on his CB radio and discovered there was an accident ahead. The truckers were joking about people slowing down to take pictures and one of them, while he was sitting waiting for the traffic to move, checked Facebook and said pictures of the accident had already been put there!
Most of the rest of the drive was uneventful. Mark was kind enough to give me a heads up whenever he saw something I might want to take a picture of.
It was dark by the time we drove into Rochester. I think Rochester, New York was where the old Dick Van Dyke Show was supposed to have taken place. Correct me if I’m wrong on that.
We have set up and spread out at the campground here in LeRoy, New York. For the next leg of our journey, we’re going to leave the RV here and go into Canada without it. More on that tomorrow.
