Getting ready to take my act on the road

Mark helped me get my new laptop set up, and he’s working on taking files off our old computer.  Today we had the first garage sale for the summer.  We are in the process of moving into our RV and getting rid of everything that won’t fit.  After today there will be 22 days till we leave, and we are still looking for a home for our cats.

Denise & Dobby

Dobby is a de-clawed and neutered male tuxedo cat.  He’s seven years old.  He’s intelligent and dignified most of the time, but when he wants attention, he talks to you and pats you to let you know.  He loves to nuzzle ear lobes and we call him our purr machine because his purr is so loud you can hear it across the room.  He enjoys sitting in front of an open (screened) window and sniffing the outside as well as watching it.  He’s been my guardian angel!

Denise & Kimba

Kimba is a five-year-old de-clawed, fixed female calico cat.  She’s not exactly the brightest bulb in the bunch, but she’s very loving.  She likes to jump into our laps any time we sit down, she’s often under foot, and she’ll roll over and look at us as if to say, “I’m cute!  Pet me!”  She loves to play, and she never quite figures out how things work.  She’s good for a laugh!  At the same time, she’s skittish around children and large groups of people.  She runs and hides under the covers.

Both cats are like family to us, and if we could take them in our RV we would, but neither of them would like that, and there really isn’t room for their things.  We are seeking a home for them with someone who would keep in touch with us and let us know how they are doing on a regular basis; maybe even send us occasional pictures.  Please let us know if you, or anyone you know, could provide such a home for our beloved cats.
