From Lincoln, NE

Mark and I cheered as we left Wyoming this morning. I’ve spent as much time as I care to there!

I like photographing different road configurations as seen from the top of a hill!
This was the highest formation I saw today.
I showed you Morris the Moose riding on my side of the RV. Mark has a model plane and a model ’57 T-bird on his side.
Green!
Backwards truck

Mark told me a funny story yesterday when we saw a truck pulling a truck cab backwards. He said he saw a video of a guy pulling up right behind one of these while his wife was sleeping and then saying OMG and slapping the seat. His wife woke up and saw the truck’s front seemingly coming towards them, and she screamed. I said, “I bet I know where he slept that night!”

Nebraska is mostly flat.

We crossed a timeline into Central Time today, so we had to stop in Lincoln, Nebraska, because it was getting late. I called ahead to a campground that was supposed to be a Good Sam park, but it had changed ownership. It’s now called Camp a Way, and it’s the best place we’ve stayed at yet.

The campground is full because it’s graduation time, and I guess a lot of out-of-town families are staying here.
The last time I saw a chess set like this was at the Buchart Gardens.
If I didn’t have a sprained ankle, this bouncy thing looked like fun.
Pretty flower gardens everywhere.
…and a little choo-choo train riding through the campground!

We were originally assigned a back-in site, but when they got a good look at the tow dolly and car behind it, they gave us a nice pull-through site. Mark took Tucson to the dog park and said it was really big.

Home, sweet home!

The staff were friendly too! If you’re ever in Lincoln, Nebraska, I highly recommend Camp a Way!
