I’ve been off work for the last week, and Mark only has one day left of work. I thought I’d share some recent photos…
Several weeks ago, Mark and I stopped at the rest stop near Skyline Sunshine Bridge. I couldn’t remember if I’d ever shared these pictures.
Our long shadows on the beach.
A serendipitous shot!
Book ends
Flying off the page…
Looking for dinner
“I see you!”
Final view of the bridge as we drove across.
Then, the night before my accident, we discovered Alligator Pond right here in Sun N Fun. It’s kind of tucked away behind a row of park models, and yes, there is an alligator in it!
Mark took the opposite shore.
I want to get this printed on metal to sell.
Were it not for the flags and the fence, you could almost imagine being out in nature!
A moment of quiet contemplation
Dusk at Alligator Pond
See the big bird in the tree tops?
Sunset
The sun setting behind our bicycles
The sun peeking through trees
Sunset over Lake Ibis here in the park
A festive park model on the lake
I have been learning new things in my sewing group too…
I made this bowl with cotton clothesline and fabric.
This demonstrates the “bowl-ness” of it.
And now for something completely different: The woman who bought my quilt, Lucy Davenport, sent me a picture of her first bonsai show at Hortlandia, a garden show in Portland, OR.
That’s my quilt behind her bonsais!
If you love bonsais, check out her Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=bonsai%20akira
Love the pictures, and you two kids!
