From Old Forge, NY

This will be our last night in New York.  Old Forge is in the Adirondacks.  It was a shorter drive to get here today and fairly uneventful.  I only have a few pictures this time.

We got in closer to city center in Rochester, NY.

We crossed some kind of bay off Lake Ontario.

This is probably a very "happening" town in the summer.

We appreciate Wagon Trail Campground in Wisconsin more and more as we see what other campgrounds are like. This is supposed to be a pull through site. It's so narrow that Mark hit his head on one of the side mirrors trying to get around the RV. There are roots all over so we needed a flashlight to get around outside tonight.

But the campground has a lake and we walked over to check it out around dusk. Cabin lights and campfires reflected on the water.

We went into Old Forge to get a few things at the store and stopped at a diner for dinner.  The food was good and relatively inexpensive.  The waitress was nice, so the day was saved.

I meant to mention last night that my stepfather had his first vitamin C infusion yesterday.  He hasn’t yet been scheduled for radiation due to some glitches.  Please pray that that will happen soon.

  1. This camp ground in Old Forge is one that I would not recommend to anyone. It is poorly constructed and poorly maintained. Well be glade to leave this place in the morning……
