Today the children in Gore and Webbers Falls begin school.  I told our friend Calee that kids in Oregon don’t start till after Labor Day and she was envious, but of course, around here they have to allow extra time for snow days.

I forgot to mention that on August 1st it was the one year anniversary of Mark and I starting this lifestyle as Workampers.  Tomorrow is the anniversary of the first wedding date we had set five years ago, and the fifth anniversary of when we instead took my step-mother’s ashes to the coast after she lost her battle with cancer.

We plan to spend tomorrow playing at Marval.  We haven’t done that yet.  We rent out golf clubs and trikes to everyone else, but we’ve never gone miniature golfing or ridden the bikes here ourselves.  We can see the pool from our windows at the Activity Center but we’ve never gone swimming here.  Tomorrow we plan to try out everything Marval has to offer!  Mark might even use the fishing license he bought here several months ago!  We’re looking forward to tomorrow.
