However, our Turkish daughter, Rukiye Kucukyavuz, who is staying in our old RV in the driveway, showed me some pictures she got on Monday night at midnight down at the dock on Ellison Bay. I asked her permission to share her photos:

Rukiye said she had even seen them from our yard, but Mark and I were sound asleep at midnight. I would have loved to have seen what Rukiye saw!

As Mark and I were heading home tonight, we stopped at Hwy 42 and a fire truck went by with its siren on and pulling what looked like a boat trailer. We got home and heard a whole bunch more sirens go by. There’s a group that posts about the Aurora and I started getting posts from them that someone drove off the ferry dock in Gills Rock. It must have been someone out looking for the lights. Maybe they were looking up when they should have been looking forward!
