Migraine

As I have mentioned the last couple of days, I’ve had a migraine and I woke up with it this morning after being awake half the night.

If so, that would be about the only thing I have that’s stronger than Mom. She took me to Goodwill this afternoon and I chuckled to see my 94-and-a-half-year-old mother running across the parking lot to get to her car! We should all be so lucky to be able to run at that age!

Mom told me to pick out something I liked at Goodwill and she’d buy it for my birthday which isn’t until May, but I don’t expect to be here for my birthday. This is what I got:

You can see by my eyes that I’ve been through the wringer with my migraine!

When we got the shirt out in the sun, it’s kind of a rosy red and it has gold threads running through it. It’s not your typical plaid shirt. I took this picture so that I could show it to Mark as well. I told him about it, but a picture is worth a thousand words!

When Mom and I got back from Goodwill, we were both tired even though I hadn’t gotten dressed until noon today. We laid down on opposite couches in the living room to take a nap. After dinner, we played a couple of games of Scrabble and I won both. Then we both headed to bed.

It hasn’t been a particularly interesting day to write about, but I would covet your prayers for my head. I would like to be able to go to church with Mom tomorrow. I have the weekend off from Dad-sitting, but I will be there longer on Monday and hope to be well for that.

Don’t forget to spring ahead tonight!
