Bragging rights

Today was a very busy day and I was alone a good part of it.  I didn’t do too badly, and I actually sold a Good Sam membership!  Until today, I was the only one who hadn’t.  So I’m kind of proud of myself.  But not nearly as proud as I am of my nephew, Nate, who is a junior in high school.  Here is a report I got from my sister last night:

So Mazama High had an award ceremony luncheon today that Rob and I were invited to on behalf of Nate winning an award.  We went not knowing what award Nate was receiving.  Here is the list:  A certificate for running for both varsity cross country and varsity track; award for having a 4.0 gpa; He was the single outstanding student in Junior Honor English; the single outstanding student in Chemistry; the single outstanding student in Spanish 3; and he was only one of two students in the school (all 4 grades) to “Exceed”  in ALL of the state standardized tests.

Can you just see this proud auntie beaming?!
