Last time I wrote, Mark and I were getting ready to head down to Tucson in November. Then I lost my laptop, and Mark finally found it yesterday! Here’s a brief rundown on what has happened in the interim:
The day we left Price, we found out that Mark’s mom had been put on hospice and he had an opportunity to talk to her on the phone. The following day, she died. We were in Tucson for 2 weeks, and then we headed up to Washington for her funeral. The day we left to head back home, we got hit by a flatbed trailer, and the driver ran away without exchanging information. We got home and had to take the RV up to Salt Lake City to be repaired. We just got it back a week ago yesterday, and now we’re on our way down to Tucson again.
It was colder this week in Price than it has been all winter, and we finally got an inch or two of snow around our house, hopefully, more in the mountains.

The snow around our place was gone by Thursday afternoon, so we got packed up yesterday and hit the road this morning. The roads were clear, but there was snow on the sides all day today.

I have a picture of the cute town of Moab that I was going to insert here, but for some reason, it won’t let me. 🤔

We are in Tuba City, AZ tonight. We stopped here because we were here on our way to Tucson in November and liked it, but when we got here, Mark tried to take our puppy, Price, out to go potty, and 3 loose dogs tried to come at him. Tucson was so freaked, she still hasn’t gone out to do her thing, and it’s bedtime. Mark says we’ll need to find another place to stay next time. It’s too bad because this is a good halfway point, but we need a place that’s safe for the dogs.
I ended up having to write this on my phone because we don’t have Internet, so I’m keeping it relatively short. It’s good to be back with you all!
So sorry about Mark’s mother. My condolences. Always enjoy the pictures and captions.
That was scary for the dogs and you, I’m sure, to have your fur babies attacked.
Stay safe.
Glad you found the laptop.
