Today I took Mark with me to volunteer to help build the sets for the church play.  Note to self: Don’t volunteer Mark for anything without asking him first!  He was not a happy camper.

I looked at this as a gift of my time today.  While we were busy making a mess, I asked the music director to tell me a little about the play.  He said it’s going to be about 28 minutes of acting and an hour of music.  It’s based on interviews he did with 10 students from Saratoga High School after they went to Italy on a singing tour last summer.  As the sets are built, my church is beginning to look like a European cathedral.  I want to invite the other workampers to come and see it since it’s free entertainment.
