First, some news about my pastor, Nancy. I believe I had last told you that she was not going to have a mastectomy. That was the news she told us all when she sent a phone call out to the church. Ten minutes later, the oncologist called her and told her that not only was that still a possibility, but the doctor wanted her to have a port put in to start a sixteen-week course of chemo. I have wonderful news from my pastor, Nancy Bontempo, today. She finally had a successful biopsy that told the doctors what they needed to know before treating her. The upshot is that she will not have to have a mastectomy! Praise the Lord! Continue reading
Storms
One more update on my friends in Louisiana… Betty sends her thanks for all the prayers that went up for them after I posted about her and Mike. She says that while others are saying the weathermen were wrong, she prefers to believe that God answered our prayers and hers.
