Car show

This has been our first big weekend of the season at Wagon Trail Campground. Yesterday (Saturday) Mark and I had an inkling that the bathrooms were going to be full when we did our morning rounds, so we started half an hour earlier.  The bathrooms were crowded and we were barely able to do our job, so this morning we tried going in at 7:00.  They were still crowded, and Mark and I were both dragging all day from lack of sleep.  We have finally decided that there’s no beating the mad rush for the showers, so from now on we’ll stick to checking at 8:00 just deal with the crowds as best we can.

Since we worked today we didn’t go to church which is an hour’s drive each way.  Instead we went to a car and motorcycle show at our local Shopko.  On our way we stopped to take a picture of something you don’t see every day:

Al Johnson's Restaurant has a grass roof. Can you see what's on it?

Here are some of the pictures Mark took at the car show:

We rode there on Mark's Harley, so I'm wearing my leathers.

Mark says the mustang symbol in the rectangle symbolizes a corralled mustang. If you ever see one that's un-corralled, it's more valuable because they made less than 1,000 of those.

This emblem was put on the front of a refurbished pickup from, like, the 1930s.

Mark liked the gold and white combo on this Bellaire and is considering it for his Harley.

This was an old Fire Chief car and it said it was for the Bellevue Fire Department. Could it be from Bellevue, Washington?
